𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗧 - "𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲" (𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗧-𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁)

𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗧 - "𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲" (𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗧-𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁)

I have been a huge fan of Son Volt since I frist heard their album "Honky Tonk" - and that was waaaay back in the summer of 2013 when I was still digging for great country and americana style rock 'n' roll. Since then I have been following everything they release and I've been watching their live shows, music videos, interviews and other footage online all the god damn time (that's what true fans do right?) Since (maybe) I am the unluckiest sumbitch being born in the wrong country (no pun intended) that ever walked the face of this planet, I simply cannot go an see them live since they only play live in the USA (for some reason they don't tour in Europe), and I am stuck in this forsaken part of the world here on the Balkans (at least for the time being). Not complaining, nope, just venting my weekend rant a bit, ok?
𝙅𝙖𝙮, 𝙞𝙛 𝙗𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨, 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙍𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙖. 𝙄 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝘼𝙎𝘼𝙋, 𝙁𝙐𝙇𝙇 𝙏𝙃𝙍𝙊𝙏𝙏𝙇𝙀!!!

Well ignore my pessimistic view of my personal life quest, but I have made this design which was (obviously) inspired by their brilliant first album "Trace" from 1995, and since I wanted to have and wear a t-shirt with their logo and show people how crazy a Son Volt fan I am, well I have designed a custom made one and ordered a local firm (in Plovdiv) to print it out for me (again). This is a quality print folks and not some sloppy and cheap thing for like10 bucks with a folio that will fall apart on the 1st or 2nd machine wash, and it is here to stay! It's the real deal and it's not really pricy at all, so it's been a bargain I tell ya.

So I am putting the original design here in case anyone wants to print it him/herself and rock their socks off. I know there are many Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo (and Wilco) fans out there, so take this as a gift for the fans from a fan (Jay, I hope you don't mind me doing this thing here). So have fun using this design and check out Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, Wilco (YES Wilco, for goodness' sake!!!), Jeff Tweedy and Jay Farrar's other projects. They're all absolutely and incredibly talented musicians and song writers and It's the most original music with a strong americana vibe and lyrics that your ears will ever hear! Take my honest word on it, because I ain't gonna lie to ya, alright?

𝙋𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙎𝘾𝙍𝙄𝙋𝙏𝙐𝙈:

It is not a BIG secret that I am an enormous Country Music and Southern Rock fan, and I have been for many, many years now. In fact, these days I listen to mostly Country and Bluegrass (sometimes a bit of Jazz....no actually A LOT of Jazz to be honest) and early Rock 'N' Roll mostly every single day and for the past 2-3 years I have discovered even more great musicians, so I ain't planning to stop listening and digging in the past, because the treasures there are endless. That's the quest I undertook years ago and I intend to continue doing it. Country music is NOT an American cliche genre (Garth Brooks I am looking at you sir, yes you!), or some random radio station pop/rock song coming from your speakers in your car or from your Spotify or iTunes or whatever. It's a way of life man! (at least for me it is) It's just very sad and quite unfortunate that I was born in a COUNTRY (pun intended this time) that is superficially and vaguely familiar (and flat-out ignorant) with such a historical, vast and important genre of music such as Country and Blues music. Many people here don't even know who Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams or Townes Van Zandt were. In my case it seems this is the the worst kinda of joke that can happen to a man in his lifetime, and I ain't even kidding about it. Fate and circumstances (some other crazy force too) have played a dangerous game of poker and sometimes those two can be very, very nasty recepies, but life's tough and we just gotta try to escape our bad luck, our circumstances that led us to where we stand at our current existence, get away from our unwanted surroundings, lock, stock, concentrate and then recognize the invisible bars, get familiar with the code and the tall brick walls and change our points of views for our self-betterment and for the best of the ones we love and cherish.
